What stays on your device.

FeedSip is built local-first. There is no FeedSip account and no cloud behavioral profile. The claims below describe how the app actually works — not an aspiration.

Stays on this device

  • Your per-app usage measurements and daily totals.
  • Your feed responses, preferences, and more/less feedback.
  • Your progress history and the baseline it compares against.
  • All Private Intelligence processing — the on-device model that plans and adapts your feed.

This data lives in a local database on your phone. It is not uploaded. Unsupported or missing measurements are shown as unavailable rather than guessed at.

When FeedSip uses the network

  • Loading videos. FeedSip streams public, federated short videos directly from their source. Search topics are limited to a fixed, safe vocabulary, and the videos themselves are never stored or proxied by FeedSip.
  • Downloading the on-device model. A one-time download during setup. After that, planning and personalization run on your phone.
  • Opening a source link. Only when you tap one.

What we don't do

  • No account required.
  • No ads.
  • No selling or sharing your behavior.
  • No raw behavioral logs sent to any model or server.

Your controls

Usage measurement is optional. You can turn access off at any time, and progress that depends on it will simply stop rather than guess. Turning it off does not delete your local history.
